International Skilled Worker: Saskatchewan Express Entry
What is this program?
The Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker — Saskatchewan Express Entry stream lets the province nominate candidates who already have a profile in the federal Express Entry pool. If SK nominates you, your CRS score jumps by 600 points — virtually guaranteeing an Invitation to Apply for PR in the next federal draw. You can't apply directly: SK draws candidates from the Express Entry pool based on what the province needs.
Who is it for?
- You already have a profile in the federal Express Entry pool (CEC, FSW, or FSTP)
- Your occupation is on Saskatchewan's in-demand list
- You have 1+ year of skilled work experience in the in-demand occupation
- Your language ability is at CLB 7 (higher than the other SINP streams)
- You intend to live and work in Saskatchewan
What does it lead to?
Provincial nomination adds 600 points to your federal CRS score, near-guaranteeing an Invitation to Apply for PR. Once the federal application is submitted, IRCC's current estimate is about 6 months; Saskatchewan's own step comes first.
Primary requirements
- Active federal Express Entry profile.
- Your NOC must be on Saskatchewan's in-demand list at the time of application.
- 1 year of paid skilled work experience (TEER 0–3) in the in-demand NOC within the last 10 years.
- Language: CLB 7 in all four abilities (higher than other SINP streams).
- Score at least 60 of 100 on the SINP point assessment grid.
- ECA for foreign credentials.
- $500 application fee.
