New Brunswick Express Entry Stream
What is this program?
The NBPNP Express Entry Stream is for federal EE candidates with NB ties — either currently working full-time in NB (NB Experience path) or holding a Letter of Interest from ImmigrationNB (NB Interests path). Provincial nomination adds the standard +600 CRS to your federal Express Entry profile. CLB 7+ in all four abilities is the language floor, and you need 67+ on NBPNP's selection factor grid.
Who is it for?
- You have an active federal Express Entry profile
- You're either working full-time TEER 0–3 for an NB employer or have received an NBPNP Letter of Interest
- Your language ability is CLB 7+
- You're between 19 and 55 years old
- You can score 67+ on the NBPNP selection factor grid
What does it lead to?
Provincial nomination plus +600 CRS on your federal EE profile — effectively guarantees an Invitation to Apply in the next federal round. After nomination, the federal Express Entry step currently takes about 6 months (IRCC's estimate); New Brunswick does not publish times for its own step.
Primary requirements
- Active Express Entry profile with IRCC.
- Either: 12 consecutive months full-time TEER 0–3 work for an NB employer (NB Experience path), OR a Letter of Interest from ImmigrationNB with 1+ year TEER 0–3 work in past 10 years (NB Interests path).
- Minimum CLB 7 in all four abilities (TEF / TCF for French).
- Age 19–55.
- Canadian high school diploma or foreign equivalent.
- Score at least 67 of 100 on the NBPNP selection factor grid.
- Meet federal minimum proof-of-funds (or exemption via Canadian work / job offer).
- Not currently enrolled in Canadian post-secondary education.
