What is this program?

The BC PNP Skilled Worker stream is the worker-side of British Columbia's PNP for any TEER 0–3 occupation with a BC employer offer. It uses an Expression of Interest pool — you register, get a score based on human capital + economic factors, and wait until invited. The Express Entry BC (EEBC) option lets you align with the federal EE pool for a 600 CRS boost on nomination — strongly recommended if you have an active EE profile.

You have 2+ years of full-time equivalent work experience
Your language ability is CLB 4+ in all 4 abilities
You're willing to register in the BC PNP pool and wait for an invitation

What does it lead to?

Provincial nomination from British Columbia. With the EEBC option, your federal Express Entry profile gets +600 CRS — effectively guaranteeing an Invitation to Apply in the next round. Without EEBC, you file a separate federal PR application. BC currently decides applications in about 3 months (80% of cases); the federal step after nomination currently takes about 6 months via Express Entry, or about 13 months paper-based.

Primary requirements

Permanent full-time indeterminate (no end date) job offer from an eligible BC employer.
Job offer in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3.
2+ years of full-time equivalent work experience.
Minimum education credential required for the occupation.
Minimum qualification credentials (license, certification) for the occupation.
Language: CLB 4+ in all 4 abilities.
Wage meets BC regional minimum + income thresholds.
Employer support: completed Employer Declaration Form before registration.
Registration active in pool up to 12 months; 30 days to submit application after invitation.
